The Modern Maid proposal at docs.madebyaspire.com/modern-maid/proposal/ is now the single Partnership / trade-of-services version we agreed on at the 6/9 review.

One judgment call I held back for you
"Pulse IS Go High Level" โ your 95% confidence isn't supported by external research.
My Sonnet subagent checked thepulsespot.com and found: site presents as standalone CRM, no GHL attribution, pricing tiers ($49/$119/$199) don't match GHL reseller norms ($97/$297/$497). Your 95% came from Amanda's verbal claim during the 6/4 discovery โ that's the lowest tier of evidence for an architectural claim.
What I did about it
The page copy now avoids the explicit "Pulse IS GHL" claim and uses workflow-similarity framing instead: "Service-business CRMs all share the same DNA. The logo at the top of the screen changes. The job stays the same." Defensible whether Pulse IS GHL or just patterns-the-same-as.
What you decide before the Amanda close meeting
- Verify privately: ask Amanda for a screenshot of her Pulse admin โ look for GHL fingerprints (HighLevel domain in admin URL, mobile app UX)
- OR use the verbal claim anyway โ you trust Amanda, the framing works either way
- Either way, the page copy is the safe ground. Don't write the "Pulse IS GHL" line on any public Modern Maid artifact until verified.
Every change, mapped to your 6/9 transcript
| Your ask (6/9) | What I did |
|---|---|
| "Let's just stick with one option, Aria. Make it simple." | Collapsed 3-option pricing grid โ single "The Partnership" card with explicit Your side / Our side two-tone framing |
| Bi-weekly cleaning = the whole trade | Pricing card explicitly states "Bi-weekly cleaning at your regular rate ยท Exactly what we're paying you today" + "The full stack โ built, hosted, run" |
| CRM paths stay โ "important because Amanda may keep Pulse" | Path A / Path B decision diamond KEPT exactly as Jaime built it |
| Reassure her "puke" reaction โ same CRM, just different logo | Migration block now reads: "Service-business CRMs all share the same DNA. Your team already knows the workflow. The logo at the top of the screen changes. The job stays the same." โ avoids the unverifiable GHL claim (see above) |
| Maggie included in partnership ยท honest disclosure if costs scale | Maggie footnote: "Included ยท variable cost shared honestly if she scales." New "honest note on Maggie's cost" terms-block discloses $0.10-0.20 per call, ~$50-100/mo typical, "we'd come to you with real numbers if she booms." |
| Cosmetic + content changes covered (don't nickel-and-dime) | Added 6th stack card "Ongoing Care + Content" โ SEO maintenance, employee photos, service updates, copy tweaks. Footnote: "Majority of changes covered ยท full redesigns we'd discuss" |
| "Always word it as a partnership" | Hero: "Two small businesses, choosing each other." Pricing section: "One partnership. No contract. No surprises." Showcase Terms leads with "A partnership, not a contract." |
| 12-month asset rule | Added to Showcase Terms: "If you end the partnership before 12 months, Aspire retains the digital assets we built. After 12 months โ or any time Aspire ends the partnership โ the website, content, and data transfer to you in a shared drive, ready for any host you choose. You always own your domain, no matter what." |
| Variable-cost re-discussion clause (relationship-anchored, not contractual) | "Your showcase pricing is yours to keep, for as long as we're working together. The only time we'd ever bring up pricing is if a usage-based tool starts generating costs that meaningfully outpace what we planned for, and only then as an honest conversation, not a surprise. We'll always show you the numbers first." (Sourced from Sonnet research on real agency MSA language โ Sidekick Accounting, Trillet voice-AI retainer guide patterns.) |
| Tighter document ยท bullet points ยท cleaning analogies | Document is now 60 lines shorter (108 insertions, 168 deletions). New "cleaning analogy" block in pricing card: "You don't price every cleaning the same way โ a recurring bi-weekly customer gets your loyalty rate. We're treating this the same way." |
| Leave Jobber open โ future discussion | No Jobber commitments anywhere in the page. Path A/B language stays scoped to CRM only. |
| Mobile responsiveness โ bottom half cutting off | Puppeteer screenshot at 390x844 viewport โ full-page render is 390x22926, zero horizontal overflow, content stacks cleanly across migration timeline, Partnership card, and Showcase Terms. Mobile UAT now a pre-commit standard (added to Vegas's memory). |
| Visual UAT, not curl | Used ~/projects/aspire-clients/skills/screenshot-diff/capture.mjs โ puppeteer headless full-page screenshots. Added to Vegas's notes as the standard. |
| Social-feed integration plan (overnight separate task) | Done. /info/social-feed-integration-plan. Verdict: buy Behold.so Pro ($30/mo) with Astro JSON fetch โ gives Jaime full UI control. Pricing model: $150 setup + $25-35/mo per client = ~$210/mo net at 10 clients. |
Verified stack-cost numbers (for your private use)
These didn't make it onto the page โ I avoided naming specific dollar amounts publicly until you confirm. But for your back-pocket math in the close meeting:
| System | Monthly | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| Jobber Connect/Grow | $139โ$199 | 92% |
| Connecteam (Operations) | $35โ$59 | 95% |
| Pulse CRM (Growth/Pro) | $119โ$199 | 75% |
| Applause | unknown | 30% |
| UMA | unidentifiable | 10% |
Defensible floor: Jobber + Connecteam alone = $175-260/mo across 2 confirmed vendors. With Pulse it's $295-460/mo. Ask Amanda directly for the Applause + UMA bills โ those two unknowns could add $100-500+/mo and strengthen the consolidation argument significantly.
Connecteam free tier: $0 for โค10 employees. Worth confirming Modern Maid's headcount.
Still on the runway to the close meeting
- CLI-101 ยท pull Pulse CRM API docs (your action, gates the Path A architecture)
- CLI-103 ยท present the proposal to Amanda (this revision is what you'd present)
- CLI-104 ยท schedule the follow-up review meeting (window 2026-06-09 โ 2026-06-18)
- Recreate Amanda's Pulse dashboard in Aspire CRM for live demo (your verbal commit at 6/9 meeting, ~19m mark โ "If she gives me a screenshot of what her pulse dashboard looks like today, I can recreate it on Aspire Digital and give her demo access")
- Get Applause + UMA monthly costs from Amanda โ strengthens the consolidation pitch
- Verify or accept the Pulse=GHL framing for the verbal close (see above)
