The plan in one breath
Send Amanda a Dub video (~3–4 min) with the draft site URL. We are customers first, partners second — that's the emotional posture. We're not pitching; we built a working draft so she has something concrete to react to. The ask is one hour of her time so she can shape what comes next.
Pre-record checklist
- Pull up the website-reveal page on a second screen — that's the one we'll send her: https://docs.madebyaspire.com/modern-maid/website-reveal/
- Also have the draft site open in case you click through during the take: https://modern-maid.launch.madebyaspire.com
- Have her current site open too for context: https://the-modern-maid.com
- Confirm both URLs are publicly reachable from your phone on cellular (no CF Access wall on docs or launch sub-domains). The reveal page has a button to the live draft — click it once on mobile to confirm the round-trip works.
- Topher: warm tone, customer-first, not salesy. We genuinely love her team.
- Jaime: bring real energy on the branding moment — it IS your best work, lead with that
- Both: do not say "AI built this" — call it "enterprise-grade modern stack" if it comes up (see talking point in Act 3)
- Length target: ~3:30 total. Dub lets us re-take per segment — don't try to nail it in one
Act 1 — Topher opens
"Hi Amanda — it's Topher and Jaime Otten. You probably know us best as customers — your team has been taking care of our home for a while now, and honestly we tell people about you constantly. That's actually why we're making this video."
"We've been quietly building something on the side — a small agency called Aspire Digital. We work with Delaware-area small businesses we already know and love, helping them get the website, the brand, and the systems behind the scenes to a level that matches the actual work they do. And when we sat down and asked ourselves who we wanted to partner with first — really first, as in this is our soft launch — your name came up before anybody else's."
"We didn't want to send you a pitch deck — that felt cheap. So Jaime built you a working draft of what a Modern Maid site could feel like. It's not finished, and the whole point of this video is that you get to finish it with us. But Jaime is going to walk you through a few pieces she's especially proud of."
Act 2 — Jaime walks the site
"Hi Amanda! Okay — I had way too much fun with this, so I'm going to try to keep this short. There are three things I want to show you specifically."
"First — the brand. We built a whole illustrated character around your team. Bright, friendly, playful, a little cheeky. Because when I think about Modern Maid, I don't think of a sterile corporate cleaning service — I think of a team that cares, that notices the little stuff, that's been part of Delaware for over twenty years. I wanted the site to feel like that the second somebody lands on it. So everywhere you look there are these illustrated maids doing real things — opening doors, holding sponges, welcoming you in. It's warm. That was the whole goal."
"Second — I noticed your Instagram is constantly posting about hiring. Like, almost every week. So I built a real Join Our Team page that I think can do that recruiting work for you, instead of you having to post about it on Instagram every week."
"The headline is 'A job you'll actually look forward to.' Starting pay — $23 an hour — is right at the top, because that's what gets people to scroll. And then we pulled in real voices from your team. Hannah, your office manager, saying she's been there four years and still looks forward to coming in. Alea talking about how the schedule got built around her kids being out of school. Katie talking about how the training was real and she didn't get thrown in the deep end. That's what makes someone apply. Not a stock photo and a 'we're hiring' badge."
"Third — Elder Care got its own page. Because there's a story there that doesn't get to breathe on most cleaning company sites. Families looking after aging parents who need a team they can actually trust in their loved one's home — that deserves more than a checkbox on a services page."
"And while we're on that — Amanda, the Cleaning for a Reason partnership. Two free cleanings a month for local cancer patients in active treatment? That's not a footer link. That's brand. So we gave it a real moment on the homepage."
"There's a lot more in there — pricing, services, FAQ, reviews, areas you serve, a blog setup, fourteen pages total. So I also put together a whole walkthrough page that breaks down every section, the decisions we made and why, and what we'd need from you to actually go live. That's what Topher's about to send you — and the button to click into the real draft site is right at the top of it. Topher, take it from here."
Act 3 — Topher closes
"Okay — quick thing about the tech, in plain English. The site you just saw is fast. We host it on Cloudflare's enterprise network — the same backbone the biggest sites in the world use. Most small-business sites are built on bloated platforms that load slowly. Ours doesn't."
"Why that matters for you: Google ranks fast sites higher. And as more people start using AI tools to search — ChatGPT, Perplexity, the AI overview at the top of Google — the sites that load fast and have clean structure are the ones the AI recommends. We want Modern Maid to be the site that comes up first when somebody in Delaware County asks an AI 'who should I trust to clean my house?'"
"The other piece is the systems behind it. You've got tools running today — online booking, CRM, reviews, scheduling, maybe payroll, maybe email marketing. Some of those are great and we keep them. Some of them might be costing you money every month for things we can fold into the website itself, or replace with something cleaner."
"I want to be clear — we're not coming in to rip things out. We want to sit down with you, figure out what's working, what's annoying, what's missing, and what you've always wished you had. Then you decide what stays and what changes."
"So here's the ask. An hour. That's it — just one hour with us. Walk us through your vision, your wishes, the stuff you've thought about for years and never had time to build. We'll listen, we'll take notes, and we'll come back with a real picture of what a partnership could look like."
"We sent you a link along with this video — quick heads up, that's a walkthrough page that explains what we built and why. It's not the actual site itself, but the button to click straight into the real draft is right at the top. Open it on your phone, take a look around, mark up anything you love or hate. There are no wrong reactions."
"Then text either one of us when you've got an hour free, and we'll bring coffee. Thanks Amanda — we mean it when we say we're rooting for you."
The leave-behind — one link, two destinations
Send one URL with the Dub video — the website-reveal page. It explains everything we built, walks page-by-page, and has a button at the top that drops her straight into the live draft. We are explicit in the video that the reveal page is the explainer, not the site itself.
⚠️ Verify both URLs publicly before sending: open the reveal page in an incognito tab on your phone (cellular, not home wifi), then tap the live-draft button at the top and confirm that round-trip loads with no Cloudflare Access wall. If either gates, fix before sending.

When Amanda replies — discovery prep
The 1-hour meeting is discovery, not pitch. We listen 80%, talk 20%. Bring these questions:
- What does a perfect week look like for you, operationally? What's broken?
- Which tools do you use daily and love? Which do you use and resent?
- How are leads coming in today? How do they become customers?
- What does the hiring funnel look like right now? Where does it leak?
- If you could wave a wand and have one thing handled automatically, what is it?
- Five-year vision — same size, or bigger? Same services, or more? Same area, or wider?
- What would make this partnership feel like a clear win to you 90 days from now?
